Tribal Chic

Last Wednesday I went to visit my friend J, her 2 year-old C, and meet her new baby boy, S, for the first time. It was so nice. J and I had some time to talk and C is old enough that he is talking more and more and is so stinkin' cute!!! Also, *gush*, S is such a beautiful baby! I got to hold him for 20 minutes and it was so hard to give him back. On my way back from J's, I stopped at the local kosher grocery store to pick up some things for dinner. I made fajitas for D and he LOVED them! I have to admit, they turned out really well. We then took Keppie for a walk in the park at dusk (which is why the pictures aren't great). It was a great day!

I love the cool gold 'tribal' look of the embellishments on this shirt. The tunic cut is also great with the empire waist and the wide sleeves and longer length. I paired it with the khaki skirt to keep the color scheme in neutral. A brown tone scarf and gold necklace finished off the look.

White Undershirt: Ruthie's (in Monsey)

Tunic: Banana Republic

Skirt: Gap

Necklace: Banana Republic

Scarf (as headband): Century 21

Shoes: J.CREW

Don't ya just LOVE perfect days??

I love how your summer outfits often incorporate whites and tans. It's perfect for the season, and I wonder how things will evolve with the fall.
