A Grey Kind of Day

Occasion:

Now that I am back in school full time, I really appreciate my summer of loungin' around, playing/training Keppie, cooking nice dinners for D and generally having a ton of time to get stuff done! It's definitely been a challenge to get back into the swing of things but I am ready for an exciting and productive year.

It's been really rainy, gross and cool in the NYC area these past few days...so it was time to pull out and dust off some fall clothes. I am welcoming my boots (new and old) with open arms! I have even been able to pull out the leggings and tights:) I love this simple tunic. Without the beading it would be pretty blah...but the bugle beads really give great detail to a simple cut. I paired it with a classic denim pencil skirt and leggings...yay! I am LOVING moccasins for fall and I love that these have a slight 'bootie' feel and some flirty fringe:) Because of the beading on the tunic, I decided against a necklace, and then I felt that the ensemble was best left simple so I passed on all accessories...I think it works...no?

Outfit:

Tunic: Banana Republic

Skirt: J.CREW

Leggings: Target

Moccasins: J.CREW (Minnetonka)

What are your fall must-haves??

I agree---no need for accessories for this one (at least around the neck!). I love me a good beading!!
