Black, Grey and Red All Over

Welcome to my living room:)

Hello Keppie!

Today was a snow day for most of Northern New Jersey. I am still on break, so for me it was just annoying since I couldn't really do much. I thought it was gonna be a boring day cooped up inside, but I got a call from my friend R and we decided to go out walking each with our babies...her with her year old son A, and me with my "daughter" Keppie:)  About an hour into our adventure A fell asleep in his 'backpack-thing-that-is-worn-on-your-chest' and R decided to drop him off home with her husband R (yeah they are both R's...its too cute:)) Keppie then decided to be a "vilda chaya" ('wild animal' in Yiddish) and I decided to drop her off with D. R and I then decided to finish our walk. We went to the local kosher grocery store and got some so that D and I can do dinner tonight with R&R.

I like this light grey ruffle vest and I wanted to style an outfit around it. I layered it over a simple black undershirt and belted it with a wide stretchy belt. I paired it with my trusty denim pencil skirt and finished the outfit off with a red beaded necklace, my UGGs and my grey chunky knitted beret.

Undershirt: Ruthie's

Vest: J.CREW

Skirt: J.CREW

Belt: Ann Taylor

Necklace: Thrifted

Tights: Century 21 (Hue)

Boots: UGG

Hat: H&M

Did you have a snow day? What did you do?

The ruffle vest is cute!

It's kind of crazy hearing about snow because it's 70degrees here in L.A. today :)

I just started a new work-from-home job, which means I may never get a snow day again! Oy. But I LOVE your ruffled vest, especially belted. Is it a recent buy? Maybe I need to go get one for myself!

You're outfit inspired my own one on Tuesday: black tutleneck, gray vest, red chunky bead necklace, gray pleated skirt, and black boots. I then liked it so much (and Eitan did too!) that I'm wearing it again today! (With a different black turtleneck)
