D and I woke up to more snow today and so it was definitely an indoor day:) I cooked for Shabbos and made "sweet and sticky green beans" with red and yellow peppers in a honey-soy sauce dressing, onion glaze chicken with potatoes and onions, and a portabello mushroom salad with red onion. I cleaned our room, organized my closet a bit and cleaned up the kitchen from all of the cooking dishes. And...all of this was before 1 PM...go me!!
Ok, you got me...I don't really dress like this for a day of cooking, but since what I was wearing should never be seen by anyone (yes it is that gross and ratty looking), I decided to pull from my archive of pics that I haven't posted yet. This outfit was from my last week of school before my break. I love how the brown sweater makes the animal print just pop! I chose a simple black pencil skirt since the top half of the ensemble is very busy. I cinched the animal print blouse with a skinny patent leather belt, brought out the browns of the print by wearing my cognac colored equestrian boots, added a cool chunky necklace and topped it all off with my gold studded beret:)
