Chicago Style

Since I am so far behind in my outfit posts, this is what I wore when we went to Chicago last week to celebrate the birth of my new nephew. It was much colder in Chicago than it was here in NJ/NY...although today was absolutely gross and rainy/snowy! Aside from being cold in Chicago, the weather was nice for our weekend there. Alas, this was the only outfit that I had time to photograph.

I paired this bright golden sweater with a flowy dark charcoal grey flowy skirt, belted it with a skinny brown braided leather belt, matched the belt to my camel colored equestrian boots and added a splash of color with the red beaded necklace. I really liked the result! Sorry for the short post...but it is definitely bed time!! Night night:)

Sweater: J.CREW

Skirt: GAP

Belt: LOFT

Tights: Century 21 (Hue)

Boots: Banana Republic

Necklace: Thrifted

Glasses: Dolce & Gabbana

Yay! We made it past hump-day...any fun weekend plans?

Yellow is definitely one of your colors. The necklace is a great addition too!

I love how the pop of red from the necklace looks against the yellow top. Great outfit!
