Kosher Casual - Product Review

**Disclaimer: Kosher Casual graciously provided me with this skirt for review, however, this review is impartial to the best of my ability**

Occasion:

A few months ago I was contacted by a modest clothing website Kosher Casual offering to give me an item of my choice for a product review.  I chose this shiny black stretchy pencil skirt and I have to say, I LOVE it! It is just stretchy enough to be super comfortable, but it is still very fitted and the shiny material makes it a tad bit dressy. The length is great, as it hits just below the knee, but since it has a stretchy waistband, it can be worn shorter or longer depending upon how high you wear the waist. It runs very true to size; I got a large and it fits great. The one downside is that it bunches a bit when walking around my hips, but not too much that it looks noticable. Thanks so much Kosher Casual!!!

For those of you in the greater New York Area, Kosher Casual has a boutique in Teaneck. To make an appointment to visit, call Alene at 201-530-0346. She is wonderful and will spend time helping you pick out the perfect pieces for you to enjoy! For those of you not in the area, go to www.koshercasual.com to order from their online merchandise.

I wore this skirt on one of the first spring days of the year and it was wonderful to be out sans tights! I love when the weather gets warm enough so that I can pack away my tights and go bare legged and this was the first day for that! I paired my skirt with a nude colored cardi with fun yellow buttons. I layered a white ruffled tank underneath for an extra layer since it's not quite warm enough without a few layers. The accessories really bring out this outfit. I wanted to go with a bright color scheme for my accessories and chose a bright pink skinny leather belt, a chunky pink flower necklace and a bright orange and pink silk scarf. I brough out my Sperry top-siders for their springtime debut, but just discovered that I need to get another pair as there are huge cracks in both soles:( Come on spring...get here quicker!!!

I am so glad to see you review this skirt. I was just looking at their site over the week-end and I immediately ruled out this skirt because I'm a 14/16 and curvy and just thought it wouldn't work for me. I've been lurking on your blog for a month or so now. I'm not observant but I do try to dress more modestly than most women so I get some great ideas from you. Thanks!
