As the Babe Grew, the Bump Grew...
Being pregnant with Yishai was really an amazing experience. Thank G-d, I had a really easy pregnancy, and looking back on the 9+ months, even though there were times that I was feeling nauseous or super exhausted, it was pretty much smooth sailing.
I really didn't want to compromise my style just because I was pregnant, so I decided to embrace the "baby bump" as a way to experiment sartorially. There are some gorgeous maternity clothes out there, but, man, they come with some hefty price tags! I really didn't want to spend a lot of money on maternity clothes, considering that they would only be worn for such a short period of time, but I also didn't want to feel like I was wearing the same items all the time. Therefore, I continued to shop at my favorite stores for sale treasures in some larger sizes to accommodate the growing babe. Up until the day before Yishai was born, I was wearing a mix of maternity and non-maternity.
