Happy Mother's Day!

{Hat/Shirt/Shoes: J.CREW, Sunnies/Blouse (as vest): Target, Skirt: Gap, Necklace: F21, Bracelet: thrifted}

Oh, man! I have a pretty large backlog of outfits, so this outfit may or may not have been (read: is definitely) from the beginning of April. Also, there have been several outfits worn and not photographed, so you know what that means: heck yeah, I'm gonna rewear 'em!

 Time is flyin' by and we are trying to capture as many memories as we can!
Today Yishai is 10 weeks old...wowzers, double digits! Where did my itty, bitty baby go??

He is holding his head up for longer periods of time, smiles all the time and looks at everything with such focused intensity. I feel like I am witnessing small, real-life miracles everyday watching my son grow and explore his new world.

We just had his 2 month checkup and he is 23 3/4 inches long, 8 lbs, 15 oz and super muscular!
Little Guy has quite the biceps:)
He got his first two shots and it was definitely harder for me than for him. Even though he only cried for a minute, those moments were heartbreaking!

I am in the process of writing his birth story. Even though I will never forget the larger parts of it, I want to make sure I write it down while I still remember all of the details. It's mostly for me and D, but if Yishai wants to read it when he's older, I want him to be able to have it in its entirety.

And last, but certainly not least...HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to ALL of the moms out there!!!
To my own Mom: Thanks for being so incredible! Your complete love and devotion to your 3 children is apparent to everyone. You put your career on hold for over 20 years to raise us, and that sacrifice is something that we will never be able to thank you for enough! Reentering the nursing field after 20 years is beyond impressive and Micah, Danielle and I are so incredibly proud of you! We love you so much! I have so much to learn from you about being a mother and I know that the lessons you have to teach me are far from complete. I look to you for guidance and advice as I begin this part of my own life!
And now you're a NANA!! Yishai loves you so much already!
