Hi All!

Holy cannoli, I have really missed blogging! I guess I didn't even realize how happy having this little bloggy had made me until I neglected it. That ol' adage "Distance makes the heart grow fonder" seriously applies here and it feels soooo good to be back.

This whole mama thing is a hard act to balance and I have so much respect for all mamas who work full/part time, have multiple kiddos and especially the superwomen who are doin' this incredibly difficult and rewarding job all by themselves!

Yishai just passed the 8-month mark (Nov. 4!) and I feel like I am finally coming up for air! With a teensy bit of experience under my belt now, I now have a better idea of what to expect from him and the words 'time management' don't make me want to burst out in spontaneous laughter/choking/snorting/eyerolling all.at.the.same.time.

It feels good...really, really good. It's all cheesy cliche-ness of a weight being lifted off my chest. But seriously, once I realized that this was the void missing from my life I immediately felt better. Sometimes simply identifying the void instantly fills part of it. Anyone else feel that way?

Taking time for myself to focus on this outlet that makes me oh-so-happy not only benefits me; it makes me a better wife and mama. David, Yishai and Keppie deserve nothing less from me, and in order to give them the best version of myself, I have to feel like and be that version.

Here's to happiness!!
